Classificatie
Classificatie volgens Ideberg 1
| Type I: | Fractuur van rand van het glenoid |
| Type IA: | Fractuur van anterieure rand van het glenoid (Boney Bankart) |
| Type IB: | Fractuur van posterieure rand van het glenoid (onderscheidt van kleine avulsies voorkomende bij traumatische instabiliteit) |
| Type II: | Dwarse of schuine fractuur door fossa glenoidalis met een inferieure triangulaire fragment met subluxatie van de humeruskop |
| Type III: | Schuine fractuur door het glenoid die doorloopt dor de mid-superieure rand van het scapula (vaak geassocieerd met acromioclaviculaire fracturen of luxaties) |
| Type IV: | Horizontale fractuur doorlopend tot aan de mediale rand van het scapula |
| Type Va: | Combinatie van Type II & IV |
| Type Vb: | Combinatie van Type III & IV |
| Type Vc: | Combinatie van Type II, III & IV |
| Type VI: | Ernstig comminutief oppervlak van het glenoid (Goss modificatie) 2 |

Conservatieve behandeling
Indicaties:- - Indien <1cm dislocatie
- - Bij klein fragment
- - Bij ernstige fragmentatie (geen ORIF mogelijk)
(Na-)behandeling:
- - Mitella voor 6 weken
Follow-up:
- - Poliklinische controle 1 week met X-schouder (AP, lateraal en axiaal), indien geen verdere dislocatie, start pendeloefeningen
- - Poliklinische controle 6 weken met X-schouder (AP, lateraal en axiaal) met functiecontrole

Operatieve behandeling
Indicaties:- - Substantieel glenoid oppervlakte betrokken (> 1/3 van oppervlakte)
- - >1 cm dislocatie glenoidrand
- - Instabiel glenohumeraal gewricht
- - > 5 mm dislocatie in fossa glenoidalis
(Na-)behandeling:
- - ORIF
Follow-up:
- - Poliklinische controle na 2 weken met X-controle en hechtingen verwijderen
- - Poliklinische controle na 3 weken voor oefeninstructies
- - Poliklinische controle na 6 weken met X-controle en functiecontrole
